| Notes | My first time seeing the Pumpkins and their new lineup. I was very impressed with the show and just how powerful Jimmy Chamberlain is live...he is a machine. The setlist was excellent featuring a lot of Siamese Dreams tracks mixed in with many others including the only 2 tracks I like off the Adore album. ;-) Billy was in a great mood and even joked about dancing with the "Golden Gopher" by the fire. The whole band was extremely tight and played the old songs with the power they deserve. The sound was suprisingly good for Roy Wilkins with the "boomy-ness" of Roy Wilkins not nearly as bad as it could have been. It was also extremely loud, even directly across the venue from the stage. Billy Corgan now allows taping (audio AND video) so I would strongly advise you to tape and check out the new lineup if they come near you. |
