| Notes | Taper Notes: * Special Guest John Frusciante on L'Via L'Viaquez * A portion of Cassandra was not recorded due to saving files and restarting recording. * This was the best TMV show I have ever seen. From beginning to end there were no letdowns. They started off at sunset with no opener. The Fistfull anthem rang lound and clear. The crowd roared and Mars rocked into a killer Drunkship. From there it was glorious. The background screen was a nice treat for the eyes with the two men with covered heads. Cygnus and L'via were incredible especially the solo juggling with John Frusciante. The lights were surreal and made the whole stage seem as if it were floating. Another treat was the fantastic saxophonist/flutist adding to the mix and the introduction of Paul Hinojos on the programmer/sound effects who kept it flowin between songs. It's hard to put into words, the recording will hopefully fill you in. Anyway the show was amazing and it sounds fantastic, it was a good venue for recording and I hope you enjoy it! Notes: (Korey Goble) * Cassandra is missing 12 minutes in the middle section of the song. Track 14 is the first 8:26. It skips 12 minutes and track 15 is the final 10:11 of the song. * This release has been re-tracked from the original wav files so that any prelude longer than 60 seconds is its own track |
| Tech Notes | Transfer: >USB2>Computer Hardrive>Master Wav is tracked and cut using Soundforge 8.0>flac using Flac Frontend Edit notes: Using Sony Soundforge 8.0, The volume was increased 15.52db on the left and 13.52db on the right. It was recorded at a low level, but hey it is better than clipping! Location: The show was recorded about 120 ft back from just left of the center stage in the audience. Recorded from stereo mics clipped to hat 6 ft. from the ground spaced 6 inches apart. My iRiver record level was set to 2 and my volume input level on my battery box at 50%.
