| Notes | The venue was a moderately impressive 3100+ seat venue on the Campus of The University of Indiana, still in use. Dunn Street forms a good deal of the west boundary of the campus. Before Pretty Persuasion Michael Stipe: "Well I took a walk last night with my bicycle down Dunn Street and I happened to walk by this place called The Peanut Barrel and there were these young facists out on the sidewalk who gave me a lot of shit because they didn't like the way I look. Well this song is for y'all, if you're here tonight. If you are here tonight, you can leave after the song's over." During the 2008 tour he would periodically introduce Pretty Persuasion as being about growing up queer in the 1980's. The experience must not have been too upsetting, as the band returned to record Lifes Rich Pagent just outside Bloomington in the spring of the next year. Don't Go Back To Rockville is introduced as a song about a bus. First performance of Swan Swan H Sound quality is above average for an audience recording of R.E.M. circa 1985.
