Mastering: Reaper DAW with Universal Audio and Waves plugins. Sources not native 96k are upsampled to 96k with SOX for HD processing. Reduced to 48k with SOX for the 24 bit stereo and quad masters. Reduced to 44.1k (SOX) and dithered to 16 bit (Waves IDR) for stereo CD. The quad master is 4.1 and presented in a 5.1 file format to ensure compatibility. The FLAC format uses no extra space for the digital zero C channel.

Quadraphonic surround allows separation of the multiple audience recorders front to back. This is not a discrete surround mix, but a more immersive realistic presentation of the live stereo mix in the room.

Both recordings together reenforce the sound. EQ and dynamics balanced for the most natural live sound possible. No aggressive high end boosting. You can turn this up! For the quad mix, R2 is biased to the fronts and R1 is biased to the rear. Both recordings together present the original stereo soundstage left to right more than they allow for front to back presentation.
