Notes Show Notes: Night 2 of Thom's solo jaunt in Australia, his first time visiting these shores for shows since Radiohead's last tour here in 2012. A sold out crowd in the 10,000 capacity Sidney Myer Music Bowl was witness to a spectacular one man show of wildly differing styles of music - acoustic tenderness one minute, full on throbbing bass rave party the next, all accompanied by amazing visual backdrops. And the crowd was there for every second of it. Until the final song of the night anyway, when one person in the crowd a number of rows in front of us (I was there next to but not the taper of this particular recording) decided he'd make his feelings known about the situation in Gaza, though to be honest from our seats it was indecipherable gibberish and I had no idea what he said until I read it later. Thom clearly did though, and didn't take kindly to this, and walked off stage, to much disappointment from everyone else in the crowd, and lot of unhappy people wanting to throttle said heckler. If it sounds uncomfortable listening to it, it was being there too. After much cheering (and I think said heckler being escorted out, though it was hard to see being dark), Thom did come back on stage, and whether it was the planned final song or not, a very appropriate Karma Police ended the night. Despite what could have been a sour end, it capped off a terrific show.

Recording Notes: Great sound and a great position in the venue meant the recording came out really well. Enjoy!
