Notes On the AUD, The "pumping" of compression that's fighting the recording device is triggered mostly by the drums, and mostly in the electric section of the show. In the blend it added an interesting effect to the drums, as there is a kit-strike followed by a slight delay as the device get's hit, then responds slowly, creating a slap-back effect on the kit. I controlled it by using my own compression on the AUD. It's still there in spots, though much less obvious. At this point, it sounds like a natural effect of the room, probably a lot like the experience of being in the crowd, toward the back.

All in all, the AUD gave the SBD some needed ambience and depth, and the vocals and guitars both were supplemented into fuller and more well-rounded spectrums. Plus the crowd chatter, whoops and claps.
