Notes A massive thank you to spaceyraygun for sharing their recording. Notes from the taper as follows:

"Live recording of Smashing Pumpkins on 2000-11-29 at United Center in Chicago, IL, US. This was Smashing Pumpkins penultimate show before their breakup. They would play two final "goodbye" shows; this arena show and an epic 4+ hour finale at the significantly smaller Metro on 2000-12-02. I did attend both shows, but I did not record the Metro show. I did not want to risk getting kicked out because Jimmy was gracious enough to put us on the guest list the previous evening for the dress rehearsal. You can even catch some pixels of me in the officially released performance of Fuck You (An Ode To No One) for that one!

Back to this show: This recording is by far the longest show I've ever done and I was still fairly new to the craft. My gear was suboptimal and you can certainly find a better quality source for this show on the Internet Archive. Nevertheless, this was my attempt. Glass' Theme was cut during a sloppy disc change. I remember going to the fan-coordinated afterparty at "The Lab" and being overwhelmed by meeting so many renowned members of the community at the time. It was an epic and bittersweet week, but it was the perfect way to end my gap year and transition from a traveling über-fan to a college student."
