| Tech Notes | Clifford Brown Practice Sessions July 28th, 1955 - Quebec, Canada I have seen one track from this tape up (the 17 minute shed by Clifford). This includes this track and some rehearsal tracks with an unknown group in Quebec, Canada. (He says 'province of Ontario' - Quebec is a province in itself...) If anybody can give any info about this tape that would be great - Clifford sounds incredible, and you get to hear him speak and buzz. Since the tracks are so rough and informal, I've labeled them with descriptions rather than titles. 1. (Piano Noodle) All The Things intro - 0:38 2. All The Things pt. 1 3. All The Things pt. 2 4. LOUD Bone, Trpt Noodling 5. Piano Noodling Blues intro 6. Blues Jam 1 7. Strike up the Band? 8. (Bebop Tune) pt.1 9. (Bebop Tune) pt.2 10. Blues Jam 2 11. Clifford Talk 12. CLIFFORD WOODSHED (The famous track) 13. Clifford Buzz 14. Piano Practice (Clifford?) Lineage Unknown. I got a CD of it from a Canadian musician who claimed to get it from the person who Clifford's wife gave it to. Any info? Does anybody recognize this tape? Encoded as FLAC Enjoy!}LAC Enjoy!} |
