Notes "There is a lot of conjecture on the source of this recording. It is believed this is a dub from the master cassette, although I don't have conclusive proof as of this writing. It could very well be as there is no hiss and the dynamic range is superb. It's also believed this is not an audience recording. Rather, it's similar to the gigs at the Eagles Auditorium where microphones were slung over the lighting gear hung over the stage. Clapton is very high and present in the mix, the performance is great and the band is loving it. Listen to the sample!

What is known positively is this. Cassette transfer was done at a New Haven recording studio (no names, please) in 2009 "from cassette" as listed on the label of the cdr. Fades and EQ were professionally done at that time by that studio and a very limited number of produced cdr's were passed around to musicians in the New Haven area. Through a musician affiliated with that studio I was able to procure his copy. What you now have is what I got, with one exception. The transfer ran 16 cents too slow, and that has now been corrected."
