NOTE: This is an edited version of "Caught On 35mm Black And White" that was produced by Clint Howell. Here are his comments:

This is an edited version of "Caught On 35mm Black And White". The original version had rough edits and numerous gaps. For instance, there was a large gap after "Trip Through Your Wires" right before "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". And to make matters worse, when "I Still Haven't Found..." kicks in, it sounds like an old VHS tape that has excessive wear and tear; the song slowly cranks up. I extracted the silence between these two songs and interlaced the clean audio portions.

There was another gap (a small one) after "I Still Haven't Found...". To remedy this, I once again extracted the audio and spliced together some non-silent portions.

Also, I noticed there was a moment of silence during "October", so I did my best to take out that small moment of silence and splice together the actual audio.

The other things I did to this recording are:

*Normalization to 92% (as some of the peak levels were as low as 26% !!).

*Change some of the cue points (as some songs bled over to the next track).

*Change the number of tracks on each disc, so as to distinguish this edited form of "Caught On 35mm Black and White" from its original version. The edited version has everything before the encore on disc one and the show's complete encore on disc two.

*Add fade-out to the end of disc one and fade-in to the beginning of disc two. I also adjusted the fade out at the end of "Bad", so now the crowd noise is continuous after the end of "Bad" up until the beginning of "October" without any fades!

*NOTE: other fades - for "All You Need Is Love" and "40" - have not been touched.

Overall, I feel this edited version makes for a more enjoyable listening experience, as the gaps have been edited accordingly.

NOTE: I received this recording from Scott Zumsteg. It was originally recorded on HiFi VHS,
and it has never touched an analog source. Sound quality and clarity is outstanding.
Trust me, this recording is far better than any of the commercial bootlegs of this show.
There are a few minor pops, some very light static during October (possibly why it was omitted from the commercial bootlegs),
and a few sloppy track transitions. Nonetheless, this is definitely one of the three best U2 bootlegs I have ever heard.
