**
There is a minor issue with regard to my archived raw
audio: I initially transferred the Minidiscs to my PC and
made a rough version with the edits detailed below. I then
discovered that there was a flaw in the rough version,
specifically at 5:28 of Sweet Little Mystery. I therefore
made a 2nd transfer to the PC, this time I did the transfer
twice and compared the .wavs after transfer, in order to
verify. I got a good transfer of minidisc #1, however I
discovered that I had accidentally erased minidisc #2.
There is therefore no .shn archive of the unprocessed
minidisc #2 (since by this time I had deleted the raw
.wav files from the first transfer).

In other words: there is at least one flaw in the last 1/2
of the show that might not have been present on the master
minidisc, but which could only be repaired using computer-
magic. In addition, the limiting which I used to make the
between-songs applause closer in volume to the (very quiet)
songs also cannot be undone.

Which barely detracts from the quality of the music...
I'm not aware of any other flaws in the show. The first 1/2
was re-processed in EXACTLY the same way as on the rough
copy (limiting the applause then normalisation), only this
time it was done from a known-good version.

This is the editing:
====================
Because the music is so quiet, and the audience applause
usually very loud by comparison, I ran Cool Edit Pro's
limiter over the clapping sections to keep the peak levels
down (to a maximum of -13db). Once this was done I then
normalised the entire audio, by multiplying all sample
values by 4, and adjusting for DC offset. This brought the
music up to a far more acceptable level. Because the entire
show ran to just over 80 minutes, I chopped out a little
bit of applause in order to make it fit onto on (80 minute)
CD. (Mostly prior to the encore).

I found a glitch at 5:28 of Sweet Little Mystery, seemed it
was possibly a repeated section of about 1/2 second, which I
cut out and smoothed the join. After saving I used shntool
fix to correct the lengths of this and all subsequent
tracks.
(This was in the erased-master section, however the
pre-repair version is archived along with the unprocessed
raw audio from minidisc #1).

I swapped the channels, on stage John was on the Left
and Danny on the right.

The support act was a solo singer / guitar player
and I simply don't have the slightest idea of his
name. He's on the archive .shn for part #1.
