Tech Notes Nirvana Bootography Review:
This is a great show with excellent sound quality. The sound is what you would expect from an official release and the band plays with a lot of energy. This is the bands homecoming show of the Nevermind tour and the last US date before taking off to Europe. Supposedly, "Spank Thru" and "Molly's Lips" were also played but those tracks have yet to surface. There's a little jam and Krist jokingly says "White boy funk sucks!".. hence the "White Boy Funk" jam that is listed im many bootleg guides. The early "Rape Me" and "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam" are nice...
but the power and clerity of the show are the real highlights. "Trick or Treat" is the most popular way to find this recording, but you won't go wrong with this disc. This version actually contains fewer edits than Trick Or Treat or the Trick Or Treat, thus it's the preferred disc for this show. The 1991 Halloween performance is considered to be a "must have" by most collectors.
