Notes K Gatto's aud - [9/19/2005] outdoor venue has little reverb so this has a slightly aniseptic tone to it. Also, the crowd is noisy and occasionally intrusive. Overall I'd give this my solid B aud rating. There are some skips/gaps (d1t2 ~8:30, TJED, volume drop in PITB reprise d3t5~6:00). Overall, there show left me unscathed, which is NOT a good thing. Just didn't do anything. The sound/crowd had something to do with it. Lots of yackity yak during TLEO, gave the idea that the gd were background music at a party. The jam section had an undistinguisehd PITB with a Phil /drum solo/duet. Though I am a huge Phil fan, his solos just don't seem to go anywhere or fit for lack of a better phrase. This wasn't any different. Probably the emotional highlight was the Arnd/Arnd and US Blues/Sugar Mag encore. This performance would be near the bottom of 76 for me. Maybe if I heard a better recording I could give a higher rating. Double punch knockout - lackluster show and a so-so audience tape.
