Notes Mixed aud/sbd - cotsman. This is a fifty-fifty aud/sbd mix. The aud is definitely listeneable and a good aud recording for the time w/o interfereing audience input, though it suffers from some swirliness and mp3ish tinny sound. Set 1 performance wise is unnoteable. The band seems to be going through the motions. Maybe that's why the audience is subdued. Keith's piano is very good - check out the last songs on set 1. Set 2 starts out with a Truckin' with the added horn work (reminds me a bit of the Blues Brothers R&B sound). Fun and different. It segues into a NFBM jam and then into EOTW. The latter is the jam highlight but in the bigger picture of 73, not enough to make this show a must listen. The Stella is ok and the Sugar Mag is above average with the horn contribution. Overal - sort of an iffy sbd and aud recording sound wise and a performance with only a few highlights if I'm feeling charitable. Hence, you can skip this one and not be missing much.
