Comments:
A very nice recording with excellent sound quality and clarity. The overall sound is quite strong, There is some audience noise in this recording but it
isn't annoying or louder than the band. In Staring at the sun, it just great, it shows the interaction of the audience, the singing along during the songs.
A new song makes its debut before "One". The song is quite slow and somewhat bluesy.
In typical European fashion, the crowd starts clapping along even though nobody in the audience has ever heard the song.
The fans realize they don't have a clue what beat they are clapping to and stop after only a few seconds.
The song is performed in a fairly ragged fashion, not surprising considered it had only been practiced during a few soundchecks to this point.

Personnel comments:
I attended this concert, that evening Bono was in a "weird mood", a teasing mood, on several occasions The Edge was his "helpless" victim.
Before One, we saw Bono talking to The Edge, The Edge seemed not to like what he heard, he shaked NO several times with his head.
But Bono wouldn't be Bono, if he didn't get things done his way, so we had that nice birthday song. In the beginning of the song,
everyone was clapping, but as the song advance more and more, we started to wondering, and went more and more quiet.
"What song is that?" I heard ppl around me asking. The same did I. This was something new! We witnessed a jamsession of U2!
An experience never to forget!

She's a mystery to me, was played on request by, U2 Vlaanderen a Flemish Yahoo fangroup in Belgium.
It started as a joke in the group: Let's request a song! Which song, we wondered, U2 has so many great songs...
Our chairman, had a brilliant idea, let's request "She's a mystery to me", Roy Orbisson sang that song for the last time in Antwerp.
So when the European tour started several groupmembers started to ask crewmembers for the song, (Dallas was one of them),
we had signs on several concerts. At a moment we were told by a crewmember that U2 knew our request and that they were considering it!
(6 august 2001, I stood at the tip of the heart and had a little sing, at one moment, I saw Bono reading it.
After he did read the sign, he looked down, right in my eyes! What a moment!)
