Basically if you get an mpeg burned as a data disc, that is something you would watch on your computer in something like Windows Media player or a similar video viewer. Or with the proper software, you can burn that to a VCD.
If it is burned as a VCD, it is meant for play in a DVD player. I watch all mine in my DVD player to my TV. With some freeware (VCDgear), you can always extract the mpeg back from the VCD and have it that way too. I think they will also play on a computer CD-rom with some software players, but I?m not really up on that.
