AC/DC   10/23/1978

Vereeniging Hall, Nijmegen, Holland
Media SHN   1 disc
Notes Going Dutch ---> see tech notes "click on the show date"!!!
Tech Notes the text file that came with it, shows source as "Silver>EAC>SHN" .
I believe this to be wrong.

www.badboyboogie.[com, net] reports it is a cd-r release. (that is where I got the art from.

There are 3 different sources for the music contained on this disc. (my ears tell me this).

The tracks 1-10 are from 10-23-78.
Source FM>Tape(gen ?)>CD-r>SHN
Wow what can i say here, Tape hiss as I understand it is when the upper range
bleeds together, it has it. I find it irratating, especialy durring the second
track "Problem Child", the guitar notes are at the right freq to make the cymbals drop
so the hiss is on then it is off, I mean like a metranome.
There are some tape flutters, very minor but they are there.
The bass is less than expected for a FM. There is a faint ground loop noise, I noticed it!!.
After track 10 "let there be rock" radio dj starts speaking. He is cut off after a few seconds
to fade into:

12-11-79 Source: Aud>Tape(gen ?)>cd-r>shn
Live wire.
Definately sounds like he is in a trash can trying to sing out. i would call this a
B in quality. The tape hiss is minimal compared to the earlier show. But it is distant
and tin sounding. definately have tape warpage here B-, The upper freq drop low then come
back up. About 1:17 min into track 12 "Shot down in flames" you can hear blokes talking
After track 14 "sin city" audience is cut to fade into "Highway to hell".

Again track 15 "Highway to hell" is a different source all together. FM or SoundBoard, very clean track.
only if the rest of the disc was this clean, it would be an A- (low audio compared to commercial).

regrading this show as a C just because of the lineage of sources. And the poor attempt to paste them together. Roger
