Could You Walk on Water

(Sister Morphine MORPH 14)
Outtakes, alternate versions & remastered
classics from 1964 -1968 presented in excellent quality.
Many are rare stereo versions.
First 10 tracks were meant for an album bearing this very name.
A brief summation for those who don't know the story: The Stones cut some tracks in late 1965
for an early 1966 album to be titled *Could YOU Walk On Water?* The Stones cannot, and they find this out
when Decca refuses to issue the album with such a title.
By the time the Stones give in and agree to change the title, they have recorded a few more songs,
and the original track lineup gets revamped, with several tracks falling to the temporary wayside.
Some eventually surface on singles or the American Flowers album
