For my 420th torrent, I thought I'd post something special. St. Stephen is certainly in my top 5 favorite GD songs of all time. I'll never forget the buzz created when I originally seeded the 31st, just over 3 years ago. The race was on to find the other two and finish the trilogy. Early the next year, my main man Willy came up with advance copies of Harrell's seeds and that small part of our quest came to a close. Thanks to everyone that has made this 'hobby' so much fun over the years. As we move through 2004, the fruits of our labor have really hit the community in spades! Kudos to all who made it possible, far too numerous to name, but you know who you are.
Another Installment of the Music Never Stopped Bittorrent Project!
To this day, I remember people literally crying in Section 309 of MSG as the band and audience joined together in the coda of what evryone instinctively seemed to know was a once in a lifetime experience. For those us who started seeing the band in the early 80s, there were just enough Dark Stars to keep you in the hunt but no one I knew ever seriously talked about seeing another East Coast Stephen after Hartford. Thanks Flowmaster.
Got a sweet 1st gen aud back in 83 of Hartford set 2,took that sucker down to the local HiFi/Stereo shop, and soon as they closed we put it on their best rig,Nak Dragon,Big-as MacIntosh Tube amp,Klipshorns...When they hit those intro notes to Stephen and the crowd freaked,it was like being there. My Marin aud is a D6 tape with relatively average mics,as opposed to a 4 mic Beyer-Sennheiser>D5,so I hope these get posted individually and I"d be all over Marin...but as for Hartford,It's one where the Aud is it for me |
