String Cheese Incident   06/11/2004

Bonnaroo Music Festival (Which Stage), Manchester, TN
Recording SHNID 24819
Source B&K 4022 (XY, DFC, FOB) > Sonosax SX-M2 > Apogee MiniMe > DAT (48khz)
Media cdr   2 discs
Notes The show itself was quite good - the guys covered a lot of different ground (old to new material, good mix of grass, jazz, jam, etc.). As for the recording itself, not a bad job but the vocals are kind of low. The instrumental songs and jams sound great, but when someone is singing (doesn't matter who) the vocals are behind the mix just a bit. I don't remember this happening at 'Roo, so I can only assume it's in the recording/transfer somewhere.

The only other flaw I noticed is that at the end of the Rollover track (after the crowd cheering, etc.), it breaks into GTATB, ends the Rollover track, then restarts into GTATB again. All in all though, not a bad listen
