I have tried to quiet down the terrible feedback noises that occur during Chilly Water by applying a negative gain to those sections of 12 db (at 67:29 for 2 seconds and 70:20 for approx. 1/3 second). I think the first set sounds pretty good but the second set sound is particularly muddy in the low end. I think we may end up seeing a better source for this show turn up (although Scott says there were only three rigs running this night). ALSO - are we hearing the development of a new instrumental? - check out Track Five - probably not but took the liberty of tracking it anyway ;) Disc One: Set 1: 1. Surprise Valley > 2. Rock, 3. Greta > 4. Better Off, 5. Jam > 6. Machine > 7. Barstools and Dreamers, 8. Pickin' Up The Pieces, 9. Action Man, 10. Henry Parsons Died Disc Two: Set 2: 1. Can't Get High 2. Junior > 3. Send Your Mind, 4. Airplane > 5. Fishwater, 6. All Time Low > 7. Drums > Disc Three: 1. Chilly Water > 2. Sometimes, 3. Old Joe 4. E: Contentment Blues, 5. Red Beans ['Satisfied' rap during 'Barstools and Dreamers'; 'Third Stone From The Sun' jam by Dave after 'Drums'] |
