Thanks For the Show Im Upgrating My Aud Copy. This Show Was A Lot of Fun. I Rember Town People Walking Around In The Show With Their Little Kids And The Beer Vendors Giving Away The Beer For Free. But Most Of All I Rember The TO LAY ME DOWN !!!!! It Was SooooooooooooooSWEET!!!!
Lake Acid -- and what a beautiful place to trip. The show was in the same facility that the US beat the Russians in hockey at the Winter Olympics. This show, the Univ of Vermont show, the Binghampton show, and the Duke show all from either Spring or Fall 1983 were really the last small venues the band played on the East Coast. It was Giants Stadium from there on in.
This one's been a favorite of mine from the time I began collecting tapes, which was just a few months after this show (my first show was 8 days earlier in Greensboro). The Sugaree and To Lay Me Down alone make this one a keeper. As always, thanks to Charlie Miller- does he ever sleep?- for his tireless efforts in getting the tunes out. And big props also to those who seed these shows. Hurrah for everything!
The sound quality is great and the Sugaree is way cool.
