J-Card Comment Despite some great moments -- the "Ripple", Brent during "Franklin's Tower", the Bird Song jam, and a trypically excellent Dew -- my personal tour journal confirms what I thought I remembered: this is one of the worst "Eyes" I have ever seen or heard. No opening jam, botched lyrics, weak Jerry lines, and a all-time record for playing it fast. The last thing is probably the best thing. Grab it because it reminds you that there was always something to be learned at a show, especially the less-than-perfect ones.

I got a ticket to this show about an hour before show time. My brother didn't get in and stayed in the lot. It was his first shows so it didn't really mean that much to him, then. This may have been the weakest of the run but I remember the Bird Song being great. The Ripple was one of those highlights of my life.

Now i'm double danged!!Last Ripple ever?I remember when the song 1st started saying to myself"thanks guys"And now thanks to those responsible. If only a board of 3/7/81 my dead-dom would be complete.

I had pretty good seats on Jerry's side, lower level but a couple of friends scored 5th row dead center. After space, one of those friends came up to me and traded seats to let me check it out up close. Man, I'll never forget the feeling of that place when Ripple began!

ahhh Jerry back on the stage in a dark paisley smoking jacket and started the first electric Ripple in mileniums,,,,,good stuff
