Hunter S. Thompson   02/24/1984

UCLA, Los Angeles, CA
Source 2nd Generation Cassette > Phillips CDR 880 > XACT Low quality
Media CDR   1 disc
Notes It is an audience recording of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. My friend Jim Lombardi was a film student at UCLA at the time, and he recorded this with a handheld Walkman recorder. The quality is not that great. But if you can put up with some hum and hiss, you will definitely enjoy an hour of HST during the Reagan years. Lebanon, Reagan, Curse Of Lono, Grenada, and of course Nixon -- all come up. I hope you enjoy it.
02/24/84 2nd Generation Cassette > Phillips CDR 880 > XACT Low quality audience tape with some light hum and hiss. Recorded by my friend Jim Lombardi on a Sony Walkman tape recorder, dubbed onto a cheap Radio Shack "Concertape" 60 cassette. Some not so smooth edits, tape flip. Lots of loud laughter (from Jim). Hunter in great form.
