| J-Card Comment | Bah! That's not nearly enough people!!! Back in the very early 1990s, there was a TV program in the UK called The Sounds Of The Sixties. It was a half hour in length and each week would feature all kinds of groovy tunes. One week, they showed Pink Floyd's appearance on The Look Of The Week, complete with Hans Keller and Pow R Toc H. This was widely recorded and is - by far - the most popular version of this broadcast to ever circulate. If you own a copy of the Look Of The Week, it's probably this one. But, very sadly, nobody traded the entire unedited program. It wasn't until years later that I finally found a copy. It's contains GREAT material by The Who and the Grateful Dead. How anyone could edit out Jimi Hendrix is completely beyond me. His Voodoo Chile has to be heard to be believed! Happily enough, a good friend of ours recorded a BBC4 rebroadcast in 2004 on his computer and made it available. The picture quality is light years better than whatever you've got on VHS from the early 1990s - I promise! Because the show is only about 30 minutes long, I had the opportunity to add a bunch of bonus materials.... Although the picture quality of these films on the Harvested PFVA is, in all cases, better or equal to what I have given you here, I hope that you find these to be acceptable alternates.. Some details - Arnold Layne - No goofy VH1 logo in the corner Scarecrow - Contains several minutes of outtakes that aren't on the PFVA. (Set to a cover version of Scarecrow) Complete Look Of The Week - seemed appropriate to include the full interview here You get the idea. Oh, one more thing... The menus are either brilliant or incredibly annoying, depending upon how you look at them. So, ahead of time, let me just say "You're Welcome" and "I'm So Terribly Sorry.... It Just Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time". Scott |
