| Notes | Received in trade supposedly from a pre-fm source but it has too much hiss for that. Lineage something like: FM > ? > audio CDR. Trader makes a copy of the audio cdr for me. I then go EAC > WAV > CEP > CDWAV > SHNTOOL > FLAC Slight hiss reduction applied in Cool Edit. Retracked in CDWAV. 01-Hillbilly Band 02-Another Cruel Love 03-Can't You See 04-24 Hours At A Time > (sharp transition) 05-Ramblin' 06-Take The Highway 07-Everyday (I Have The Blues) Lou's Notes: Somewhat of an abrupt transition from 24 Hours At A Time to Ramblin' with no intro to Ramblin' - Doug's intro to Ramblin' may have been cut as he introduces most of the other songs. I have the date as 05-18 although I've seen 05-08 and 05-10 out there as possible dates. The KSAN Intro and Outro are not present so I'm assuming this was another of the weekly Sunday night live broadcasts from the Record Plant in Sausalito at 11PM. 1974 sounds like the right year but I'm not certain about May 18th since May 19th would have been on a Sunday, thus I've changed the date to 1974-05-19. This was right around the time of the release of their 2nd all studio album, A New Life (technically their 3rd release), and after the release of their studio/live double album, Where We All Belong. I think I wore through the vinyl on that one! Half of this show's setlist is from their 1973 1st album, the self titled MTB. AMG Notes on the MTB: |
