"Comments and Reviews: (to the source recording) The Digital Dan (EX/EX+): Taken from the master source, this is one of the best sounding audience recordings you'll ever hear. Great ambience and a wonderfully balanced recording. All the instruments are loud, clear, and well defined. There are a couple of big cuts due to reel changes, one at the end of "Wish You Were Here" and one at the beginning of "The Bravery of Being Out of Range". Other than that, this is the full show. This is a great recording for any Roger Waters fan. I actually like the mix on this better than the rather stale sounding official release. A special thanks to R.B. for letting us use this master source. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is for free trade and blank media trade only. Please do not buy, sell, or distribute for profit. Help keep the spirit of trading alive and well. Equipment List: Nagra IV-S reel to reel with 3M 967 1.0 mil tape at 7 1/2 ips for 49 minutes. AKG C 414 B ULS mics with 48 volts phantom power. 32nd row 7 seats off the left centre. LeeGeddy (EX/EX+): Holy smokes!!! What a great ANALOGUE recording. The mix is just right with lots of warmth in the bottom end and the crispness on the high end. Kudos to the taper for having the balls to stealth with a Reel-to-Reel. This recording will get many plays on my stereo, indeed. This show ranks up there with my other favorites from the tour, namely Providence, RI (CS HEB mic) and Wallingford, CT (Neumann KM140 mic) shows. (SEPT '03)" |
