This review is from this amazing website called CollectiveUnconscious.org that I just found yesterday...

"I'll make no qualms about this part of the tour; not all that awesome. Maynard's voice isn't doing all that well & the band seems to be going through the motions rather than really expanding anything. Or really trying. Maybe, a little boring? As for this recording, it is slightly muffled, distant & not all that exceptional. Damn Sony mics. Taper must've been relatively far away from the speakers as well; this sounds very much like a hall-e recording. There is also some microphone fidgeting. If that makes sense. However, this is not the MP3 version floating around. This is incomplete but relatively rare. All things considered, this is on the borderline of for collector's only. This is worth a listen, for sure, but this is also at best a common-sounding ECM>MD recording."

Maynardism: "Good evening."

I couldn't agree more with whomever designed that killer website.

But the whole Tool live hoarding thing really irks me, so here's this "relatively rare" recording free for ALL! it's not the best quality though... I've heard there are some really nice Tool soundboards out there I'll never get to hear, but that's what I get for not hoarding this "rare" recording. This is a great band that blows my mind every time I see them. Unfortunately this is the only time I've recorded them. If anyone has a better sounding copy I'd love to get it, as well as a copy of the Hartford, CT 2001 show I attended. Rock on everyone!

Sell copies of this or distribute as encoded mp3z and you will burn in hell, i promise.
