Lieder-Liches - Happening In Studio
The Beat Club - Bremen, Germany

WARNING
This is a re-tracked and edited version of a Ninja previously seeded rip
I decided to work on this rip due to his good sound quality
and to obtain a more enjoiable and ready-to-burn version.
This is NOT mp3 sourced (even if some of you could think that:
just this is FM sourced and anyway you still can detect the difference
if you make some freq analysis comparision - as I did -
with a mp3 sourced version).
Please don't flame.

Feel free to convert it into mp3.
Please distribuite it with intact info (this file)
Thanks to Ninja for the original seed.

Originally produced and taped by Radio Bremen
Transferred by: Ninja (according to Ninja, his version is from a "master clone",
of course he made some sonic treatment, including noise reduction)
Edited by: amnesiavivace (with shntool, no sound alteration)

The original Ninja seed contained also an interview from 1970 that here has been removed.
Excellent video (with excellent audio) of this "happening in studio" has been already seeded here.

Quality & Completeness notes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A part for the obvious break between tracks 1 & 2 (where in the known tv show from 1970 was
placed a short interview with Zappa, from june 1970), the whole recording seems a segue.
Of course being this a tv show you can't really be sure this was really a continuos performance....
(I heard rumours about some "beat club sessions" - do anybody know something about that?)

The original Ninja seed has not other cuts and only a couple of little volume drop-out during
the String Quartet, otherwise is very good e complete!

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This Mothers performance is outstanding from many points of wiev.
For what I know it's the only stand alone live recording from the sixty of
Let's Make The Water Turn Black (usually played in the "big medley").
Also the improvisation after The string Quartet is really great and unique.
Last, there's great performance of Uncle Meat (one of my preferred Zappa tune).
