This is my favorite live recording of Tones On Tail, the Daniel Ash / Kevin Haskins project that served as a bridge between
the final Bauhaus album and the first Love & Rockets album. At this point David J. was still making solo records and playing
with the Jazz Butcher, but his subsequent return to writing and performing with Daniel and Kevin put a quick end to any
possibility of further Tones on Tail projects. For those who don't know already, the bass player in ToT was Glenn Campling,
a former Bauhaus roadie.

I've heard several recordings from ToT's U.K. tour (May 1984), and this recording not only sounds better but also
includes their cover of "Heartbreak Hotel" which wasn't performed in the U.K. Evidently a recording of ToT's Minneapolis
show exists, but I've never heard it. If anyone has that show, or any other ToT / Love & Rockets / David J. / Daniel Ash
rarities, please post them!
