Okay... I am going to set the record straight. This is the complete version of the infamous "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service " bootleg. Henry's book "Get in the Van" makes reference to this show, but incorrectly describes it being in Calgary. I was at this one. I felt it was a pretty sad when alcohol was not permitted inside the hall. People were being checked at the door and told to get rid of their booze or they would get rid of it for them. I saw one kid dump a full beer into some ones backpack on the floor where they were checking, he laughed to his friends. I thought you f**king asshole. In defiance to the rules, I was able to sneak a "Miller King Can" in under my jacket. F**k authority! After Henry's sobbering "anti alcohol" rant and "whoever destroyed our tape deck" speech, the monstrosity bulging under my jacket made me hide it for the rest of the show... or be pounced on by one of his attack dogs patrolling the crowd. BTW the crowd at the Desh show was somewhat subdued, more like intimidated. Enjoy this poetic sonic master piece anyways.
