| Notes | Comments: Well first off it was a great show, very heavy on the new material, but an excellent performancce just the same. I honestly didn't really get into "The Open Door" that much at first listen but now after seeing 3/4 of the album live i'm taking a new more appreciative listen to it and finding it a very good album. yeah sure it doesn't have the same impact as " Fallen" did but "Fallen" was their first "BIG" production album and they backed that album up with spectacular shows and also survivng losing half of the original writing team (Ben Moodie) and not breaking up and forming a new writing team and releasing another album. I admire persistence and devotion and this band has it!!! Back to the show..very cool lighting, great sound, very bass heavy,as it shoyld be for their sound but not too much bass like some heavy shows. I do like how they hit us with new material right away, and then gave us older stuff. Recording turned out quite nice actually,i'm happy with it, it was only my third time out with these mics and i'm quite happy with them (thanx Chris Church!!!) Guns N' Roses was the first time out for these mics and i didn't think guns had the greatest sound so I didn't feel it was a true test of the mics and the 2nd outting was an acoustic show rehearsal for "Nothing Sacred" and it sounds killer, but was a very ample recording situation (i had permission). anyways enjoy the show,i sure did and will continue too for a long while....
