| Tech Notes | A bit distant sounding, but quite clear and enjoyable. Smashing performance! "This is a very special one, Christian Vander & Magma in a huge German church! Charlie Heidenreich, the promoter of the "Freakshow Artrock Festival" did a great job (Thank you Charlie for all the experiences ...) The balcony in the church was reserved as tapersection, so this is a very clear sounding audience, a compilation of two masters, done by hanwaker & me. in order to put this show onto 2 CDs i have chopped up the songorder. Tracks 3+4 on CD1 are actually the follow up to Ka Anteria & Ballet Slave from CD2" "my microfon was placed on a tripod leaning over the balcony at the back of the church and thus i avoided a lot or almost all of the echoes in the church... probably the flowerkings were much louder than magma who always have a very good sounding p.a. due to the nature of magma's many voiced vocals"--juhab1 |
