J-Card Comment Joni Mitchell
"Second Fret Sets"

Recorded live at the Second Fret club in Philadelphia and from live radio appearances, on various dates from 1966-68. On the radio, Joni is performing the songs live; no official releases are played.
Source information on boot artwork was checked against data on http://jonimitchell.com/chronology/. She did actually appear at the Second Fret on the dates given.
Boot CDs > EAC > WAV > FLAC
Artwork included.

The sound quality on this collection is outstanding, except on a rare performance of Neil Young's "Sugar Mountain," which suffers from substantial tape hiss. Everything else sounds amazingly good, especially when you consider how old these recordings are. Following "Sugar Mountain" is Neil Young performing his tribute to Mitchell, titled "Sweet Joni." This March 11, 1973, Bakersfield performance is the only recording of this song in circulation.

Enjoy,

Clyde the Camel
