Tech Notes Devastating performance; this recording captures their live energy perfectly, with better acoustics than when I went to see them.

"The Review: First time at the Ridglea Theater in Ft. Worth. I arrived a little after doors opened and got my spot front and center in the seating section, right before the balcony. Intronaut actually came on about 10 minutes
early, what a pleasant surprise. They were ok, I actually am liking them even more afterwards. Same goes with Torche. They both played 35 minute sets, very solid, lots of guitars and very few vocals. Isis came on and rocked
solid for a good 65 minutes, then they took a break. They actually had an encore, very strange. I guess maybe touring with Tool gave them that idea, who knows. Any ways, they came back out and played one last song. The show
was over by 11:15, which was incredible and I was happy since I had a 2.5 hour drive back home. There was also a lot of great merchandise there this time too... If you went to one of the shows, hopefully you picked something
up. Overall, it was a great night of music.

The Recording: As for the overall sound... Intronaut and Torche had great sound, then when Isis came on, their sound guy decided to crank it up another 5 notches. The sound really started to resonate and was very warbly. I was
really hoping that it wouldn't show up on the recording, but fuckin' aye it did. So the two openers sound great, and Isis is just listenable. If you can make it sound better, please do and give me a copy!"
