Notes:

I received this video in a DVD trade from Jimmy Mac. It had numerous issues which were able to be fixed or improved. The audio on the DVD was from the VHS source, and was an FM source before that. It was in mono and had defects as well as radio commercials in between songs, etc. The DVD had generic text menus and automatic chapters every five minutes. The picture quality was good though. The source VHS had to have been low generation. This upgrade is that video synched with the Pre-FM soundboard audio source, with proper menus and chapters added, and numerous other improvements.

As expected, the timings on the video were slightly longer due to some typical tape stretching. This was fixed by going through the video and speeding it up very slightly for a couple seconds every few minutes or so, or in some cases pulling the video back a couple frames between angles. This was all done as discreetly as possible, and in most cases should not be noticeable to the human eye.

The Pre-FM audio source did not include the soundcheck which was on the video. After searching for an audio upgrade to the soundcheck to no avail, the audio that on the original DVD was used, with some slight alterations. There was a noticeable hiss throughout, and noise reduction was applied to the parts in between songs, but not during any of the music. A radio commercial was replaced with crowd noise from the Pre-FM source, and some fades were applied.

Also, during the show, there were about 3 minutes after Sugaree, about 1.5 minutes after Passenger, and about 1 minute during the encore break missing from the primary audio source which were filled in with crowd noise from other parts. All these transitions were smoothed with crossfades.

The video showed static at all the edges, and this was easily covered up. There were about 15 seconds of video missing between Stagger Lee and Passenger, and about 30 seconds of video missing during Fire On The Mountain. These spots were filled in with graphics.

The audio source had several level drops in the right channel during Me & My Uncle > Big River. These were made to sound smoother and less noticeable by switching the right channel output to 50/50 of the left & right inputs over each spot. At the same point where the right channel issues started there was a quick but relatively loud anomaly in the left channel which was quieted. During Drums there was a section about 20 seconds long on the audio source that repeated itself, possibly from an intentional tape flip overlap which may have been overlooked in the transfer, but was fixed here.

Much thanks to everyone else who made this one possible. Enjoy. -Pat
