Notes Patched BBD by Owen Brothers [2006-06-18] From the LMA "During the NFA jam, Garcia's noodling works its way into the familiar patterns heard in Supplication. Towards the end of it, he summarizes with the chords that suggest Weir is about to step up and sing "Well dizzy aint the word for the way that you're makin me feel now...." Instead, they return to a NFA verse. The drummers then switch over to the steady beat of GDTRFB....Garcia's solos are fairly inspired, especially his use of the chords. The ending is a bit odd: he tries to state the usual Bid You Goodnight-type theme, but the band seems to want to race on and do another GDTRFB verse. Then they quickly bring the whole thing down to start A&A." Not an epic performance but definitely in the top 25% for 77. Problem is nothing to distinguish it from the other shows from this year. Nice sound quality, though the aud fades between each track get in the way a tad and disrupt the smooth playing.
