This day was a long one. I got up during track 11 and started walking to back by the soundboard, mostly so I wouldn't get caught in the crowd. The end of track 11 has a little fade, but most of the time I spent walking was when Cindy Sheehan was coming out on stage. I ended up staying by the soundboard for the last song as soon as I realized he was playing one more. This one is a little chattier than I would have liked it to have been, but I have heard much, much worse. Thanks to David Z and Mayumi for the tarp space at the Banjo Stage on Saturday. Most importantly, thanks to Warren Hellman for putting on the best free festival anywhere! If you like this recording, be sure to pick up some of the artist's commercial releases. |
