| J-Card Comment | Same taper as the night before, but even better quality due to being closer to the stage it seems. The lead guitar is mixed low (virtually absent) in some songs you'll notice, but gets corrected later. Over all excellent quality with a few volume fluctuations caused by taper adjusting levels. After the first snare attack of "Tommy Gun" the song cuts into the second half due to a miscalculated tape flip and mic fumbling. Also the taper gets caught off guard with the surprise encore after "White Riot", but gets quickly back up close while tape is recording. Also sounds like the p.a. guys were surprised as well and in the process of tearing down, because the mix is radically adjusted during "Safe European Home". A great show and superb quality.. a must have for the Clash fan, especially of the Clash mkII variety. - ENJOY!! |
