Curtis Ensler's Collection

Mike Scott   ??/??/1996

Flying Solo, Various, Various
Media CDR   1 disc
J-Card Comment While I have been taping shows (not just Waterboys) since 1992, I put together this compilation from a a variety of sources (some Dat masters, others have analog generations). I recorded directly into a stand alone CD recorder (not Phillips) when they first came out. I didn't pick the best version or try and get every song Mike played during the period. I did try and get some of the songs Mike only played once. This was one of the first real cds I ever compiled (excluding cassette compilations).

I probably compiled this in late 1996.

Anyway....Here's is a Drifter666 Compilation. I dont have notes on the sources unless I recorded it myself. All dates in US Format MM-DD-YY

On a side note, I went to Salisbury on December 3, 1994 and Mike played a wild setlist.
I believe it was the first Rare,Precious and Gone. He had not been playing Fishermans Blues.
I'm not sure if he played Lion of Love before or since. Garageland by the Clash was amazing.
I had a switch set wrong on my DAT recorder and over recorded the whole show whih made it unlistenable.
I got a few different versions over the years but never a really good one. If anyone has one, please torrent it.

Enjoy !
