Just You, Just Me d1t02. Announcement d1t03. Don't Blame Me d1t04. Sweet Georgia Brown ------------------------------------------------------- Notes: - The levels sound to be a bit brighter on this Source from the previously releases LL10. - on d1t01 at 4:56 the music fades out during Hubert Meyers's solo and fades back in after an unknown amount of time during Britt Woodman's Solo. - The end of d1t02 ends with "Benny Carter and his band... Jazz Session time at the Streets of Paris, it carries on until six o'clock. And now...". The end of the announcement is then cut. - d1t03 has Splices at 0:54 and 5:47. Music is lost in both instances - d1t04 has some very prominent static present throughout that sound to be possible reminants of vinyl in the lineage. There is also a Splice at 4:57 with some lost music. This track ends with the announcer voice over being cut. The crowd really gets into this last track! - "Benny Carter and His Orchestra were booked that the Orpheum Theater (with Harry "The Hipster" Gibson and Helen Humes) from March 19-24, and the Carter Group played a dance at Meadowbrook Gardens in Culver City on March 30." - Credit to Peter Losin, http://www.plosin.com - "After the trumpet solo on "Just You, Just Me" (3:07) the announcer says "trumpet man Miles Davis." No other announcements confirm Davis's presence, although it certainly sounds like Davis on "Don't Blame Me." Howard McGhee is usually listed on trumpet for "Sweet Georgia Brown," but Franck Bergerot argues in the liner notes for Masters of Jazz that it is Davis." - Credit to Peter Losin, http://www.plosin.com - Thanks to Peter Losin for the source. http://www.plosin.com md5 8fce9a44bb2444c226ed9d08ec59988a *md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t01.flac 6e6d263f7c7dc379bfb4a1ce06555850 *md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t02.flac e85d907839e60aab9386ecfe73b6e46a *md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t03.flac b5fbc10be6a8d8b66dffc9fe55b85e95 *md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t04.flac ffp md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t01.flac:be0259d2aa3507b17744dc2b41b47afb md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t02.flac:85a39af83149c84011b6f89bbf58a0e5 md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t03.flac:2ef6d5a362518bf2fb03865fe328de54 md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t04.flac:e3afd4edf6c7b612af61bd15cc3e4a34 shntool length expanded size cdr WAVE problems filename 7:56.05 83978204 --- -- ---xx md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t01.flac 0:08.07 1427708 --- -- ---xx md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t02.flac 8:57.01 94729196 --- -- ---xx md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t03.flac 7:33.13 79939820 --- -- ---xx md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t04.flac 24:34.26 260074928 B (totals for 4 files, 0.3194 overall compression ratio) spectral analysis from TLH md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t01.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t02.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t03.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% md1946-03-31.LL76.d1t04.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% old ffp 07 - Track07.flac:be0259d2aa3507b17744dc2b41b47afb 08 - Track08.flac:85a39af83149c84011b6f89bbf58a0e5 09 - Track09.flac:2ef6d5a362518bf2fb03865fe328de54 10 - Track10.flac:e3afd4edf6c7b612af61bd15cc3e4a34 |
