* - Sounds like this could be a 16 track sbd/aud matrix, like a few other shows from this time period,
or maybe some reverb was coming from the board. Whatever it is, the sound quality is great.

A Note From Rob Berger: I promoted this show and remember standing next to the taper when John
Paluska of Phish asked him to stop. I forget the chain of events with this tape, but copied my 2nd
gen hifi vhs > dvd-r 4-5 years ago. Enjoy.

Author Notes: The maximum video bitrate of this DVD is 9555 kb/s, far higher than allowed by DVD
standards with a LPCM audio track. But the average of 4269 kb/s is much lower. Since this was
originally recorded via a standalone recorder in standard play mode, I don't think the video bitrate
spikes to 9555 (or even close to that) very often, if at all. I tested this disc on 4 different home DVD
players, 3 of which are a few years old, the other is quite new, and there were no problems. But
please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that this disc will play properly in every DVD player,
although I think the chances of problems occuring are very, very slim. A new transfer from this VHS
is no longer possible because the tape was eaten shortly after the standalone transfer. Rob Berger
confirmed this to me. This was originally seeded by Rob to shnflac.net on 3/29/07 with 101
downloads. It had camcorder audio in dolby 2.0 format, no menus, and no proper chapter marks.
