Terrapin Station > 02. Playing In The Band > 03. D//rums > 04. Space > 05. Stella Blue > 06. Sugar Magnolia Encore 07. Alabama Getaway notes - spectral analysis shows that the hiss level for Mama Tried through All Over Now is typical for a cassette gen - all other songs look to have had some digital processing to reduce the hiss levels. This processing looks to be quasi professional, so the hiss level is low without imparting a tinny sound. The bass is a bit muddled, but altogether this is a solid B+ aud tape for this time and run where taping wasn't allowed - Loser fades in so some of the opening notes are missing - presumed tape flip near end of Saint - brief skip in ~ 8:40 in Terrapin - brief skip in PITB ~ 1:40 - presumed tape flip in drums - Stella Blue had a volume shift - brief tape pause ~ 0:15 of Sugar Magnolia |
