| Notes | Eric Clapton "A" 04-27-87 Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York sbd>mr>dat>cd>shn Disc 1 Crossroads White room I shot the sheriff Hung up on your love Wonderful tonight Miss you Same old blues Tearing us apart Holy mother Disc 2 Badge Let it rain Cocaine Layla Further on up the road (Encore, w/ Robert Cray) Sunshine of your love (Encore) Filler: Bad Love Lay Down Sally Before You Accuse Me Old Love Note: The Stardust Productions bootleg (SP-R-204) identifies the filler tracks as 1/8/90. However, the Slowhand Tourography (http://www.ectours.de/) shows that the Journeyman tour didn't begin unitl 1/14/90. My best guess is that it was 1/24/90, Royal Albert Hall, London. where he played this exact sequence of songs and which is available in a number of different high quality bootlegs. Band Lineup Eric Clapton Guitar, Vocals Nathan East Bass Greg Phillinganes Keyboards, Backing Vocals Phil Collins Drums Opening Act Robert Cray Band Official Releases Cancelled Live Album 1987 This was the last show to be recorded for a proposed live album which was never released. Two songs from this show, "Badge" and "Let it rain", were intended to appear on the cancelled album. |
