Here's another Tull gem from my collection taken from the LP bootleg "Live In Berlin 1971" (it's actually 1972) with an unreleased track, and I have to admit, very good sound!
The performance smokes, as usual, and apart from the unreleased track there's a nice early version of "Thick As A Brick". Not to mention the very long flute jam in "My God".
The bootleg sounds very good, but near the end starts some speed fluctuations which are almost tolerable till half of "Nothing Is Easy": then it gets really annoying! :(
The LP boot included as well "With You There To Help Me" and "By The Kind Permission Of" from Beat Club 1970, but since they were released officially on a Beat Club DVD, and they don't fit with the rest of the boot I removed them.
Unfortunately the LP boot wasn't mine, and I don't have access to it no more... still I think this rip is very good! ;)
Weird glitch at the beginning of "A New Day Yesterday", it sounds like it was taken from an old tape... but I can assure you this is an LP rip of it!
