Media Flac CDR   1 disc
Tech Notes Great sounding recording, but I found that all of the files failed md5 verification. Zwaar explained, "i remember having problems to check other people's md5-files too because there is no platform crossing standard of how to save them. since i'm using a unix system i use a program called "md5sum". the first thing i'd recommend is checking them manually and not automated by whatever application you use (that's how i check other people's md5 files right now). if they don't match i'd guess that your copies are really corrupted :(" But luckily the checksums match, so this happens to just be a weird anomaly.

"MD5 checksums for the flac files are included.
Flyer of the tour is included.

Review:

Post-rock, doom, metal, post-metal, stoner rock and all permutations
of those genres are very popular at the moment and a lot of bands who
claim to play such music sound very much the same in my opinion which
is not always bad, but it's nice to see some exceptions like Stinking
Lizaveta. Maybe they don't play any of those aforementioned types of
music, but all of those fit best to describe it. Stinking Lizaveta is
another band I wanted to see at the Roadburn Festival and i'm catching
up bit by bit. They were supporting The Hidden Hand along with Beehoover,
a German stoner rock duo from Stuttgart.

The venue was the Marx at the Markthalle in Hamburg, I'm bad at estimating
but I think that around about 80 people came to the show which isn't
a lot, but the Marx isn't very big either. Everyone was outside in
the foyer when Beehoover asked the people to come in. Beehoover is a
bass/drums duo and they played very laid back stoner rock. I listened
to some of their songs on their website before the show but they sounded
very different live, I think I wouldn't buy any of their albums but the
30min performance was great, nice atmosphere, they were joking around,
talking with the people and their music was a perfect warm-up.

Stinking Lizaveta had some technical problems before they could start, I
don't know exactely what happened, but it seemed to be some problem with
the guitar. Their performance was great, Yanni was furiously playing the
guitar, biting the strings and all that clichéd guitar player behaviour
unless he didn't look stupid while performing. Cheshire on the drums and
of course Alexi on the upright electric bass were also fun to watch. Their
sound is very jazzy, wild and chaotic, in a good sense. I couldn't even
imagine them with a singer, it just wouldn't fit their music. In the
end someone requested "Cyclops", a rather calm song from their recent
album Scream Of The Iron Iconoclast and Yanni asked "Cyclops?! Are you
serious?! Alright!" and they played it as their last song.

I stayed for a little while to watch The Hidden Hand but they aren't
really my cup of tea but what i saw was decent stoner metal, people
surely enjoyed them. All in all: Great concert and it would have been
perfect if Stinking Lizaveta would have had more time to play.

Have fun, don't sell, don't convert to a lossy format!"
