I would put this on the must hear list. The tape itself has very low hiss and a nice mix so there are no distractions to deal with. Check out the Dark Star - its never seems to get off course while not being phoned in either. The NFA bit is very good, and stands out despite the 100's of times I've heard it played by them. I think that comes about because Garcia holds off a few tenths of seconds from playing expected notes so the listener understands that this isn't coming from memory but from his thoughts and how he felt playing it at the time.
