-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I Like Trains were on fine form last night. You'll hear from the comments between songs that both band and audience are greatly
enjoying the show. Thanks to the people immediately around me for being incredibly quiet.
Includes the classic 'lead singer forgets where he is' moment so beloved of audiences across the globe.

The first audience recordings with my R-09HR. I did a very brief test (stereo speakers turned up to hellish loud) on the internal
mics vs my old EM-8 (the only other option), decided I preferred the sound on the EM-8 recording and used it for the first time
in four years. Who knows whether I made the right call? Comments from those 'in the know' would be appreciated. I'm pretty pleased
with how this turned out in the circumstances.

Having got myself organised to replace my MZ-R55 MD with a decent recorder, some decent mics are next on the shopping list. That
said, this is far from a terrible recording and the EM-8 may well end up being used for a while yet.
If you're looking for the best recording to have surfaced to date from the current UK tour, you'll be needing whiskybob's
recording of the Oxford show before you need this.

There is at least one other audience recording of this show.

Welcome to the other recording as mentioned by Rob in his comments. Hope all this goes OK as it's my first upload, please forgive me if there are any problems!
This was taped next to Rob on my trusty old Sony MD and has come out pretty well all told. A great gig with an up for it crowd.
I've been taping for a few years now and have a nice backlog of recordings that I've only previously shared with a few friends. All being well I'll get some of these shows up here soon and share them with a wider audience.

Enjoy,

Ryan"
