Tech Notes "Notes:

Russian Circles were supporting These Arms Are Snakes, with London-based band Tropics first on. Same set as the previous evening in Leeds.

Great set from the guys. Lots of lovely atmospheric metallic post rock on offer tonight. First time seeing these guys and I'll be back for more in the future.

Brian was playing with both RC and TAAS. Dave certainly isn't a "two kits worth of percussion and I use every piece" kinda drummer, more of a minimalist and he really nails it. Such concentration and attention to detail. I don't often notice the drummer, but...

The white light under the drum kit was quite effective. Also handy given that it gave an indication as to the beginning / end of a track, as the band have no mics and consequently don't say a word during their set.

Please support the band by buying their albums & merch and by going to see them live.
