| Notes | R.E.M. 1991-04-10 "Animal's Attractions" - MTV unplugged R.E.M. 10 April 1991 Chelsea Studios, New York, NY, USA from Bootleg: "Animal's Attractions" SBC012 CD > wav (eac) > flac8 omitted official released tracks: Half a world away (on "MTV Unplugged Collection Volume One") Love Is All Around, Loosing My Religion (both on the DVD: R.E.M. - This Film Is On (2000) A combination of videos from the band's first quadruple platinum album OUT OF TIME, plus the MTV UNPLUGGED renditions of "Losing My Religion" and "Love Is All Around." I bought this boot for 15 DM (instead 30 DM being the price earlier) in the 90s. Never saw it shared until now so I like to put it up now, another one called "Precious Rarities" will come later. Wondering whether there are offcial tracks on this I asked and became a hint that there would be one. At last I had to ask the mods (thanks to jupiter2101 for helping out!) - how can I be sure when I don't own the specific DVD's or CD's? But there seems to be assurance about the 3 tracks noted above. So here is the remaining rest: (1. Half a world away - OMITTED) 2. Disturbance at the heron house 3. Radio Song 4. Low 5. Perfect Circle 6. Fall On Me 7. Belong (8. Love is all around - OMITTED) 9. Its the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine) (10. Loosing my religion - OMITTED) 11. She will talk about the weather time: 35:00 min (of 46:43) Line Up REM (according to artwork) Michael Stipe -Lead vocal Peter Buck - guitar, mandolin Bill Berry - drums, vocals Mike Mills - bass, vocals & Special guest Jefferson Holt on guitar note from the R.E.M. Timeline (http://members.iinet.net.au/~darryl74/1990.html): 10 April 1991 - 'Unplugged', Chelsea Studios, New York, NY set: World Leader Pretend / Half A World Away / Disturbance At The Heron House / Spooky / Fretless / Swan Swan H / Smiling Faces / Radio Song / Low / But It's All Right / Perfect Circle / Fall On Me / Belong / Egyptian Reggae / Love Is All Around / It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) / Losing My Religion / Pop Song 89 / Get Up / World Leader Pretend [take 2] / Disturbance At The Heron House [take 2] / Endgame notes: World Leader Pretend, Spooky, Fretless, Swan Swan H, Smiling Faces, But It's All Right, Egyptian Reggae and Get Up were not broadcast. Another version of World Leader Pretend and Heron House were recorded, apparently due to sound problems. The song 'But It's All Right' appears to be a 60s/70s soul song which is sung by Mike, however that may not be its correct title. This show can be found on many bootlegs, including "Pluggelectric", minus the songs that were cut from the broadcast. artwork-scans included uploaded on Dime by trapper Sep 08 |
